Mid-Level System Administrator

Freedom Technology Solutions Group is seeking a System Administrator. This role offers exciting opportunities to support essential services and mission critical activities across the enterprise. Our mission supports the Government Corporate Management Services (CMS) by providing full life cycle support services through the sustainment, modernization, and transformation of the enterprise corporate applications. These applications are used across the government enterprise and are critical to the daily functions of thousands of users across acquisition, business, finance, HR, training, recruitment, program management, security, logistics and more.   • PowerShell Expertise
  • Migrate from SharePoint 2013 to a new SharePoint 2019 farm
  • Integrate Attribute-Based Access Control (ABAC) for mission-specific needs
  • Perform PowerShell scripting for the daily maintenance and configuration of the farm setup
  • Daily responsibilities involve farm performance, security, and PowerShell scripting for ongoing administration

Required Qualifications:

  • Active TS/SCI with Polygraph
  • A bachelor's degree in a technical discipline and ten (10) years of experience in system administration. Fifteen (15) years of experience in system administration may be substituted in lieu of a degree
  • Experience providing support for implementation, troubleshooting and maintenance of IT systems
  • Experience configuring and managing Windows operating systems
  • Experience with PowerShell scripting language
  • DoD 8570 compliance with Information Assurance Technical (IAT) Level I is required 

Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience with MS Azure Cloud Services 
  • CompTIA Security+ 
  • Familiarity with SQL Server and its administration
  • Familiarity with security principles including authentication mechanisms
  • Knowledge of C#, ASP.NET, and .NET Framework, jQuery, SQL Server, and Web Services
