Cyber Security Analyst

Freedom Technology Solutions Group is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Cyber Security Analyst, Staff & Process Analyst, to join our team in the Springfield, VA, area.

The Policy and Planning (P&P) team supports the Cyber Operations Squadron (COS) by overseeing the development and publication of cyber awareness and COS informational material. The P&P team performs up-to-date documentation and visibility that includes Knowledge Management and configuration of SharePoint and other data sharing platforms.

Responsibilities:

• Oversees the development, review and consolidation of the Cyber Operations Squadron (COS) standard operating procedures (SOPs)
• Initiates and maintains After Action Reports (AARs) to maintain operational continuity
• Manages the Continuity of Operations Plan (COOP) documentation by developing and reviewing it annually or upon major change requirements
• Provides knowledge management of all COS records
• Performs administrative actions in an effort to organize COS documents and e-mail groups Basic

Required Qualifications:

• Active TS/SCI with a Poly
• Education: B.S. or equivalent experience in related field and 4 years of relevant experience
• Experience working with computer desktop packages such as Microsoft Word, Excel, etc.
• Experience working with cyber operations and security architecture
• IAT Level II (GSEC, Security+, SSCP, or CCNA-Security) certification required or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire
