FCGers Recent Life at Home
In these strange times, we asked FCGers what they are doing to keep busy while social distancing and staying at home. Our employees have been starting all types of different new projects while taking time to enjoy moments in between. Here’s what is keeping us busy here at FCG.

“Hello!
I’m working from home and still taking classes, but now through zoom. My cats are making it difficult, as shown in the attached photo.
I’ve been catching up on yard work, gardening and reading, which includes finally writing more in my book I am working on that I was stuck on. Also, I started taking one of the cats on walks…I know, weird! But he has so much energy!”

“I am keeping busy in lots of ways! This list has been an excellent distraction from everything!
- My significant other and I reached 100% completion in Lego’s Harry Potter games, years 1-4
- Painting! I have 1 oil painting in the works and one water color! in progress photos are below
- Teaching my dog new stuff! While we’ve been home he’s been learning weave poles, and practicing stuff he knows like heel/side, table, tunnel, and back up! (Video attached of “side”)
- Enjoying my tulip and daffodil garden from my hammock!
- During the first week we tore out the carpet in the basement and prepped the subfloor! Soon we will install our new flooring!
- Working out, hiking, and yoga whenever we can for a little self care!
- lots of cooking and baking!”

“Life has been normal for me other than my wife working from home now. I’ve been playing an online game, and it’s interesting to see people returning to play that stopped playing sometimes years ago because they have nothing to do.”

“I’m doing well! I started training for a strongman competition, discovered bollywood movies, and am making a lot of soups and stews. Hope everyone is staying safe!”

“I completed puzzles! One 1000 piece and one 999 piece 🙃.”

“I took this time to get computer parts and start upgrading my home computers, especially my gaming rig. I got a new vacuum air blower to clean out the dust and am going to change out my cpu heatsink, upgrade my ssd to 2 TB, and add some RAM. My Linux laptop also got a ram upgrade 🙂 .”
