Freedom took a step towards expanding the company by adding the Geodata IT team to our family last spring, and it has been a very positive and rewarding experience. We asked the Freedom and Geodata teams what it was like going through this transition over the past year.

From the Freedom Team – Since Geodata has become a part of Freedom, we have been able to make a host of new connections and friends. This includes growth in the customer space and opened doors to new market presence, which has boosted our market reach.

Working through the process of acquiring another company has lead to improving Freedom as a whole by allowing our team to learn new work strategies and processes not originally being utilized. We also have been able to adopt a more agile approach to how we operate, which has been effective in increasing the speed with which business gets done.

From the Geodata Team – For the Geodata team, the process of integrating into Freedom has been seamless. One major benefit that contributed to this smooth process has been having an aligned culture from both companies that existed before integration. We’ve also had more growth opportunities and increased potential when capturing work in the St. Louis area.

Employees at Geodata have enjoyed the increased benefits that joining Freedom has provided, and all of the nice swag they have been receiving. Above all, we have been able to survive the last year of COVID together with PPE being provided and any potentially lost hours of work being covered.
