Freedom Technology Solutions Group is seeking a COTS Technology Expert for one of our contracts and offers exciting opportunities to support essential services and mission critical activities across the enterprise. Our mission supports the Government Corporate Management Services (CMS) by providing full life cycle support services through the sustainment, modernization, and transformation of the enterprise corporate applications. These applications are used across the government enterprise and are critical to the daily functions of thousands of users across acquisition, business, finance, HR, training, recruitment, program management, security, logistics and more. • The selected candidate will work on a team providing support for a Work Order & Preventative Maintenance management system functionally, used by Installation and logistics for the enterprise
• Become an expert in IBM’s Maximo enterprise management software and enhance the security, scalability, interoperability, implementation, and supportability
• Work closely with senior members of the team and developers to ensure smooth operations and resolve complex issues collaboratively
• Generate metrics and reports to enable decision making 
• Analyze system logs and identify any potential issues 
• Participate in internal meetings to discuss project progress, share updates, and collaborate on process improvements
• Additionally, attending meetings with mission partners to understand their data requirements and address any concerns they may have

Required Qualifications:

• Active TS/SCI with Poly
• A bachelor’s degree and six (6) years of experience in software development/engineering and four (4) years of experience supporting the specific COTS technology product (e.g., Maximo/Fixit). Sixteen (10) years of experience may be substituted in lieu of a degree 
• Experience identifying and analyzing impending problems with a COTS technology 
• Experience troubleshooting and resolving issues with a COTS technology 
• Experience creating, updating, or maintaining technical documentation

Desired Qualifications:

• Experience with Atlassian Tool Suite including Jira and/or Confluence 
• Familiarity with agile processes
