Software Integration Engineer

Freedom Technology Solutions Group is seeking a Software Developer for one of our PRIME CONTRACTS that offers exciting opportunities to support essential services and mission critical activities across the enterprise. Our mission supports the Government Corporate Management Services (CMS) by providing full life cycle support services through the sustainment, modernization, and transformation of the enterprise corporate applications. These applications are used across the government enterprise and are critical to the daily functions of thousands of users across acquisition, business, finance, HR, training, recruitment, program management, security, logistics and more.   • Join a dynamic and forward-thinking team of developers at the forefront of building, testing and deploying a SharePoint 2019 farm for the Enterprise.
  • Be a part of the solution to migrate the customer from SharePoint 2013 to a new SharePoint 2019 farm; integrate an Attribute Based Access Control (ABAC) solution tailored to our customers’ unique mission requirements; maintain SharePoint 2019 on the way to SharePoint Online.  
  • As a developer, you will collaborate with team members including system administrators, database administrators, system engineers and stakeholders to discuss project requirements, share ideas and plan development tasks. Your ideas and insights will shape our strategies and drive us towards excellence in our SharePoint initiatives.
  • Participate in setting up and configuring the SharePoint 2019 farm infrastructure. This may involve installing and configuring servers, services and features required for SharePoint deployment, as well as managing farm-level settings.
  • Work with a vendor team to integrate an ABAC solution tailored to the customer’s specific mission requirement, and integration with other enterprise services.
  • Monitor performance and diagnose issues, apply patches and updates as needed.
  • Participate in testing solutions to ensure their functionality, performance, and compatibility.
  • Create documentation including SOPS, configuration and deployment processes using Confluence and Jira for ticket tracking.

Required Qualifications:

  • TS/SCI with Polygraph
  • A bachelor's degree in a technical discipline and six (6) years of experience in software development/engineering. Ten (10) years of experience in software development/engineering may be substituted in lieu of a degree.
  • Extensive knowledge of C#

Desired Qualifications:

  • Extensive knowledge of C#, ASP.NET, and .NET Framework, jQuery, SQL Server, and Web Services 
  • Experience with Java, Javascript, HTML5, CSS, XML 
  • Ability to clearly communicate ambiguous or highly complex concepts to all audiences. 
  • Ability to understand the big picture and align the day-to-day activities to support that picture 
  • Experience with Powershell scripting language

 

The estimated salary range for this position is between $150,000 and $200,000 (annualized USD). This range reflects the typical pay for the role and is one part of the company's comprehensive compensation package. Actual salaries are influenced by several factors, such as location, the individual’s education, skills, experience, and competencies, as well as contract affordability and organizational needs.
