Contracts Manager
Columbia, MD
Freedom Technology Solutions Group is seeking a Contracts Manager to join our team. This position is Hybrid with at least two days in office at our Columbia, MD location. The Contracts Manager will perform a wide variety of contract management and administration functions, including proposal development, cost strategies, modifications, equitable adjustments, review and negotiation of terms and conditions, and reporting and file maintenance. Support proposal development and prepare solicitation documentation to include coordinating efforts with contributors. Provide strategic guidance supporting internal business personnel such as Capture, Pricing, and Subcontracts with reviewing solicitations and proposals for compliance to complex requirements and regulations of IDIQs, BPAs, GSA Schedules, and other GWACs. Independently negotiate and administer contracts with the US government agencies and subcontracts with large and small business prime contractors across the breadth of contract types. Negotiate teaming and non-disclosure agreements. Performs other duties assigned.
Required Qualifications:
- Active TS/SCI clearance or eligible to receive a clearance
- Bachelor's Degree in related field or equivalent years of experience
- 8+ years of experience with Government contract administration, negotiations, and proposal preparation
- Experience with all contract types, including Cost Plus, Fixed Price, Time & Materials, and Incentive fee
- Experience with reviewing terms and conditions and statements of work for areas of risk and risk mitigation in accordance with company policies and procedures
- Working Knowledge of US government regulations, Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and other agency supplements
- Ability to establish and maintain relationships with internal and external clients through consistent communication and follow-up
- Excellent organizational, analytical, problem solving, and negotiation skills/techniques
- Ability to independently stay organized and manage time
