Associate Software Engineer

Freedom is seeking a motivated and talented junior software developer to join our dynamic team. As a junior developer, you will work closely with our senior developers and software engineers to assist in the design, development, and maintenance of our software applications. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience, learn new technologies, and contribute to exciting projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with team members to develop high-quality software applications
- Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code in accordance with coding standards
- Assist in writing and executing test cases to ensure software quality
- Perform unit testing and participate in integration testing
- Maintain and update technical documentation, including code comments, system documentation, and user guides
- Contribute to the documentation of software architecture and design
- Work closely with senior developers, software engineers, and cross-functional teams to achieve project goal
- Communicate effectively and provide status updates on project tasks
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Proficiency in one or more programming languages (e.g., Java, Python, C++, JavaScript)
- Basic understanding of software development principles, algorithms, and data structures
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Eagerness to learn, adapt, and contribute to a collaborative development environment.
Preferred Qualifications (not required but beneficial):
- Experience with web development frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, Django).
- Knowledge of database systems (e.g., SQL, NoSQL)
- Previous internship or project experience in software development
- Familiarity with software development methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum)
The estimated salary range for this position is between $130,000 and $190,000 (annualized USD). This range reflects the typical pay for the role and is one part of the company's comprehensive compensation package. Actual salaries are influenced by several factors, such as location, the individual’s education, skills, experience, and competencies, as well as contract affordability and organizational needs.
