Senior Pega Developer

Freedom Technology Solutions Group is seeking a Senior Pega Developer for one of our PRIME CONTRACTS that offers exciting opportunities to support essential services and mission critical activities across the enterprise and offers telework up to two days a week. Our mission supports the Government Corporate Management Services (CMS) by providing full life cycle support services through the sustainment, modernization, and transformation of the enterprise corporate applications. As soon as an employee enters a customer facility, they touch one of these applications which are critical to the daily functions of thousands of users across acquisition, business, finance, HR, training, recruitment, program management, security, logistics and more.   • Ensure the reliability and performance of PEGA services across the enterprise by proactively monitoring and maintaining existing systems.
  • Configure and modernize PEGA services to align with evolving business needs, ensuring optimal functionality and user experience.
  • Collaborate with customers to gather and analyze requirements, facilitating effective support and maintenance of the PEGA infrastructure.
  • Perform necessary upgrades to applications and implement code enhancements, focusing on improving functionality and resolving any identified issues.
  • Actively identify, troubleshoot, and resolve application bugs to maintain smooth and uninterrupted operation.
  • Execute thorough unit tests to ensure developed software is reliable and functions as intended.
  • Address and resolve customer requests and issues via support tickets, prioritizing customer satisfaction and timely resolution of problems.
  • Exhibit strong problem-solving skills and a willingness to tackle new challenges, contributing to the overall success of the team and organization

Required Qualifications:

  • TS/SCI with Polygraph
  • Twelve (12) years of experience in software development/engineering
    • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in Computer Science or related discipline. Four (4) years of additional software development experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.
  • Strong experience with PEGA platform, including configuration, implementation, and troubleshooting, along with familiarity with programming languages such as Java or JavaScript.
  • Ability to analyze customer requirements, identify system improvements, and effectively troubleshoot issues to enhance application performance and user experience.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with customers, understand their needs, and provide timely and effective support, ensuring high levels of satisfaction.
  • Must be able to work during core hours of Monday-Friday 10am-2pm. Exceptions will be considered on a case-by-case basis.

  • Experience with integrating PEGA applications with third-party systems using APIs, middleware, and other integration technologies
  • Familiarity with Agile project management practices, including Scrum or Kanban, to effectively collaborate in a fast-paced development environment
