Linux System Administrator

We are seeking a Linux System Administrator for one of our PRIME CONTRACTS that extends through 2026 and offers exciting opportunities to support essential services and mission critical activities across the enterprise. - Work on a fast-paced team of system administrators providing support for implementation, troubleshooting and maintenance of Information Technology (IT) systems for critical enterprise applications.
- Manages IT system infrastructure and any processes related to these systems. Provides support to IT systems including day-to-day operations, monitoring and problem resolution for all the client, server, storage, network devices, Etc.
- Provides Tier 1 (Help Desk) and Tier 2 (Escalation) problem identification, diagnosis, and resolution of problems.
- Provides support for the escalation and communication of status to agency management and internal customers. Provides support for the dispatch system and hardware problems and remains involved in the resolution process.
- Configures and manages UNIX and Windows operating systems, installs and loads operating system software, troubleshoots, maintains integrity and configures network components along with implementing operating systems enhancements to improve reliability and performance.
Required:
- TS/SCI with Polygraph
- A bachelor’s degree and ten (10) years of experience as a system administrator on programs of similar scope and complexity is required. In lieu of a bachelor’s degree fifteen (15) years of experience required.
- In depth Linux experience.
- Familiarity with PowerShell and Bash scripting languages.
- Experience with system hardening.
- Experience working with ISSOs for system compliance.
- DoD 8570 compliance with Information Assurance Technical (IAT) Level I is required.

The estimated salary range for this position is between $140,000-$180,00(annualized USD). This range reflects the typical pay for the role and is one part of the company's comprehensive compensation package. Actual salaries are influenced by several factors, such as location, the individual’s education, skills, experience, and competencies, as well as contract affordability and organizational needs.
