Senior Software Engineer

Freedom Technology Solutions Group is seeking a senior software developer for one of our contracts that offers exciting opportunities to support essential services and mission critical activities across the enterprise. Our mission supports the Government Corporate Management Services (CMS) by providing full life cycle support services through the sustainment, modernization, and transformation of the enterprise corporate applications. • Primary responsibility will be to support an existing development team building performance-monitoring solutions for the Government enterprise systems. The candidate will integrate open source and COTS products in a secure environment with PKI-based authentication, corporate authorization services, firewalls, and SSL/TLS communications
• Position leverages the Jenkins automated execution architecture for automated performance checks
• Leveraging Ansible automation for building production environment
• Instrument different environments in order to capture performance metrics and will build software leveraging REST APIs to automate the capture of metrics
• Utilize Elastic stack to store performance metrics and develop visualizations of the performance metrics

Required Qualifications

• TS/SCI with Poly
• A bachelor's degree in a technical discipline and twelve (12) years of experience in software development/engineering. Sixteen (16) years of experience in software development/engineering may be substituted in lieu of a degree
• Experience with Python, R, Java, JavaScript, or Perl programming
• Familiarity with web application technologies (e.g., html, JavaScript, web servers, and application servers)
